Who this policy covers
Offet Holdings (“Reside”, “we”, “us”) provides the Reside resident platform — this website and the Reside mobile app — to residents of buildings managed by our clients. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
Your building’s property manager decides who may use Reside and what appears in it. They are the controller of most information here; we process it on their instructions.
Information we receive from your property management
Most of your information reaches us from your property manager or their management system rather than from you:
- Your name, unit, and resident type (owner, tenant, occupant)
- Your email address and phone number
- Your tenancy or ownership status and move-in or move-out dates
- Parking spaces and storage lockers assigned to your unit
- Registered vehicles, including licence plate numbers
We keep this in step with their records. If something is wrong, ask your property manager to correct it at source — corrections made only in Reside may be overwritten.
Information you give us
When you use Reside you may provide:
- Account details and a profile photo
- Amenity bookings, and photographs you take of an amenity before and after use
- Guest parking registrations, including your guest’s licence plate
- Store orders and the delivery or pickup details attached to them
- Move-in forms and any documents you upload
- Messages you send to your property manager, and maintenance or parking reports
Information collected automatically
When you use the platform we record:
- Sign-in activity and session information
- Notifications sent to you, and whether an email was opened or a link in it was followed
- Your notification preferences and any push notification tokens for your device
Cameras and licence plate recognition
Some buildings operate cameras in parking areas that photograph vehicles and read licence plates automatically. Where your building uses this, we hold:
- Photographs captured by those cameras
- Licence plate numbers read from them, and the times a vehicle was seen
This is used to administer parking — identifying unauthorised vehicles and managing guest parking. It is not used to track people, and it is not shared beyond your property management except where the law requires it.
How we use your information
We use it to operate the platform and nothing else: to give you access to your building’s services, take and manage bookings and orders, administer parking, deliver notices and notifications, respond to what you send us, keep the platform secure, and meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
Your property management team can see the information relating to your unit. Beyond that, we share only with service providers who help us run the platform:
- Payment processing (Stripe), for store orders, amenity fees and deposits. Card details go directly to the processor; we never receive or store your full card number.
- Email and SMS delivery, so notices and notifications reach you.
- Apple and Google, to deliver push notifications to your device.
- Cloud hosting and storage for the platform and its files.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect the safety of residents or the building.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as you have access to Reside through your building, and afterwards only as long as needed for the purposes above or to meet a legal or accounting obligation. Camera images and plate reads are kept only as long as parking administration requires.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Correct information that is wrong
- Delete your account and the information tied to it
- Stop sending you a category of notification — you can change most of these yourself in your notification settings
The platform supports data export and account deletion directly. Some information cannot be deleted on request where we must keep it — a record of a payment, for example. To make a request, contact us at info@resideplatform.co.
Security
Access to Reside requires a code sent to your registered email address; there is no password to be guessed or reused. Information is encrypted in transit, access is limited to those who need it, and your building’s data is kept separate from every other building on the platform.
No system is perfectly secure. If you believe your account has been accessed by someone else, contact your property manager immediately.
Children
Reside is intended for adult residents and the authorised occupants of a unit. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we make a material change we will update the date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you through the platform.
